"WANTED ENTRIES FOR VILLAGE EVENT"

" TEAM ORIENTEERING / FUN WALK" SEP 12th P.M.

Outline; A walk, starting and finishing at the Conory Pavilion for a 2-3 hour circular route including cross country and road walking of approx. 4-5 miles. Finishing with some refreshments at the Pavilion.

It will include map reading, tasks, puzzle solving, and brain teasers, all aimed at an entertaining fun afternoon.

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG

The popular dog route walks in and around our village are being blighted by people who fail to clean up after their dogs. It is quite normal for dogs to do what they do, that is partly why we take them walks. It is NOT acceptable however to fail in cleaning up after them. Please if you are guilty of this antisocial behaviour PLEASE think of others and change your ways.

NEW Parish Councillor

A belated piece of news ; Jacqui Driffill has joined us on the Parish Council earlier this year, replacing Robert Dunkley who has stood down after several years of dedicated service. Jacqui is a longstanding resident in our village and comes to us with valued talents and experience.

A report that 3 men were apparently trying doors and looking through windows at the top end of Main Street approx 2:30 am last night.
